When Harry Roberts gets a terminal diagnosis, he decides to see his granddaughter Ocean one last time.
Harry, a retired bank robber, puts the old gang back together and they begin driving from Chicago to Santa Monica, following Route 66.
Along the way, they share memories, regrets and fall back into old habits. Pretty soon the FBI is hot on their trail.
As Harry's condition worsens, will he get to see Ocean one last time?
